Fantasy Football

For those of you who read my fantasy football round-up from week 3 will know that after leading my team to a 0-3 start the front office had started to sign my goodbye papers and the crowd was turning on the team. However, from the depths of despair I have managed to drag my team back to 3-3 and on the edge of creeping to a winning record with a favorable Week 7 matchup.

At the QB position, I have been switching between starting Stafford and Rodgers for weeks in hope of igniting one of 12’s famous revenge tours on the league. Stafford started last week and has had a steady to great stream of points. I had been really struggling at the RB position after Josh Jacobs went down and Johnathan Taylor had some quiet weeks but all appears to be well with that room now with Jacobs back from injury and Taylor terrorizing defenses once again.

The WR/Flex core has been a real strength and the backbone of this team so far this year with the likes of Hopkins, DJ Moore, Claypool all pulling in good points over the first 6 weeks. On the bench, I have Shepard who has been a favorite target of Daniel Jones with the Giants so nearly always produces the goods. I also have Sanders, Ruggs, and Kirk waiting to step in when needed. TE is probably the easiest position to pick on my team with Darren Wallers’ great production in a high-powered Raiders passing attack with Dawson Knox waiting on the bench. I’ve been playing a somewhat risky game this season switching between kickers and defenses on the waiver wire when a favorable matchup catches my eye. Its served me well so far so this will probably be the demise of my team.
