Round 6 was the round every fan had been waiting for, for the last 12 months there haven’t been any fans in the ground but with the government easing lockdown rules 5 of the 6 games had fans back.
There were some cracking games but this round’s game of the week was Leeds v Wakefield at Headingley Stadium.

Leeds Rhinos 15 – 13 Wakefield Trinity ( MOM Rhyse Martin )
Wakefield opened up the scoring on 19 minutes after slick hands on a spread play allowed winger Liam Kay to stroll over in the left-hand side corner to give his side a 4-0 lead.
Trinity was in again 4 minutes later after a rushed grubber kick was spilled by Leeds winger Ash Handley allowing Mason Lino to gather the loose ball for an easy try, he failed to convert his try though.
Leeds finally got themselves on the scoreboard just after the half-hour mark through second-rower Rhyse Martin who powered over three Wakefield defenders to touchdown. Martin converted his try to make the score 8-6 to Trinity.
An impressive tackle bust by Jared O’Conner the son of former Wigan Warriors prop forward and current Sky commentator led to the Tongan international centre Konrad Hurrell to dive into the corner. Martin converted the try to make it 12-10.
On 74 minutes, Mason Lino kicked a penalty to make the scores all square, but Leeds took the lead through the boot on Luke Gale just minutes later after he nudges over a field goal from close range.
Mason Lino kicked a high-pressure field goal with just 60 seconds to level the game and send it to golden point. But just 1 minute into it impressive front-rower Mikolaj Oledski threw a long ball to centre Konrad Hurrell who broke a weak tackle and got the ball into Wakefield’s half.
In the subsequent play, the ball Trinity gave away a penalty allowing Man of the Match Rhyse Martin to kick the winning penalty.
